Follow this guide to easily purchase a phone number within the CRM. This step-by-step process will enable you to set up a business phone line for client communication directly through the platform.
Click "Settings"
Click "Phone Numbers"
Click "Add Number"
Click "Add Phone Number"
Click the phone number you want and click "Proceed to Buy" or filter to find different numbers on the next step.
Click this icon to start to choose a phone number for a different area code.
Click the "Search By digit or phrases" field and input your area code you'd like to search for.
Click "First part of number" in the "Match To" feild.
Click "Apply"
Click this radio button to choose the phone number you'd like to purchase.
Click "Proceed to Buy".
On your newly purchased phone number click the 3 dots next to it to access more featuers.
Click "Number Info"
Here you can see more information about the phone number.
Click this "X" icon to exit.
On your newly purchased phone number click the 3 dots next to it to access more featuers.
Click "Edit Configuration"
Click the "Name your Phone Number" field and name your new phone number.
Make sure "Pass called number as Caller ID" is checked.
Click the "Forwards Calls to" field to input your forwarding phone number for these calls.
Ensure "Enable Call Connect Feature"
Click "Whisper Message" to enable this feature.
Click "Call Recording" to enable this feature.
Click the "Time duration in second(s)" field and enter 1
Click the "Time duration in second(s)" field and enter 0.
Click "Ring Incoming Call to Selected Users" to enable notifications to users on your team when a call is incoming. (Optional)
Click "Save" once you've finished entering all the details.
Congratulations! 🎉You've successfully purchased a phone number in the CRM.
